The apartment is just a stone’s throw away from the Bermondsey Beer Mile, Bermondsey Street, Shad Thames, Borough Market and London Bridge. The options for you are within one mile, from small breweries to riverside restaurants and famous markets. The Bermondsey Beer Mile has six different Breweries including Hawkes and The London Beer Factory. Just under the railway arches you’ll find an array of unique tasting experiences at each brewery. There’s also a massive variety of restaurants on your doorstep, from upmarket restaurants along the riverside to smaller treats in Borough Market, one of London's busiest and most regarded Food Markets. The building dates back to the 1800s and has witnessed London’s growth from its debaucherously mysterious past into the metropolis skyline you see today. Located in the Shad Thames, neighbouring the old docks of London, this area welcomed ships bringing back spices, teas and dried fruits from around the world. For this reason, the area became known as the ‘larder of London’. Directly opposite you can see the River Neckinger Inlet where the tides of the Thames wash in and out each day. Originally, in the 17th century this wharf was used as a hangman’s row for pilfering pirates. Convicted pirates were hanged in this inlet, with its name being derived from the term “devil’s neckcloth”, a slang term for the hangman’s noose. The pubs you are surrounded by are some of the oldest pubs in the world. The George Inn situated on Borough High Street was rebuilt in 1677 following a The Great fire of London. You can drink from the same pub stools that once sat Charles Dickens. His novel, Oliver Twist, was based in the St Saviour’s Dock located directly opposite, with filming taking place here for the novels 1948 film adaptation. The history of London Bridge is rich and endless, and there is plenty for you to discover whilst on your stay.

It has a comfortable sofa and a 42" flat-screen TV with Netflix, making it ideal for unwinding and spending quality time with your group. The open-plan kitchen beautifully blends rustic charm with modern convenience. It features appliances and all the essential cookware and cutleries to meet your culinary needs. A luxurious king-size bed with an Emma mattress and high-quality linens sits atop a rustic wooden frame, promising restful nights. Complemented by artwork and a large window letting in natural light, the space is inviting and thoughtfully designed to relax. The bathroom has all the amenities you will need to freshen up, including fresh towels and toiletries for your convenience. The apartment is always professionally cleaned for your comfort. This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the flat. You can check in any time of the day as long as you respect our standard check-in time (3 PM). Also, we charge £50 for each set of lost keys (security keys may cost more). There may be an additional cost to replace the locks for security purposes. So, please keep your keys safe. There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a minimum of £300 for the smoking fee. We do not allow parties, large gatherings, loud noises, or outside guests. Should we receive sufficient evidence of such activity, we reserve the right to cancel your stay (without a refund) and may involve a security team to evict you. Any associated cost will be charged to you via your security deposit. Local authorities may also be present (if required).
