Close to the main touristic attractions of Paris, accessible through several means of transportation, the neighbourhood offers the luxury of being in Paris with your feet in the water! The Bassin de la Villette changes into a second Paris Plages (Paris Beaches) during the summer. Walk along the quays on the canal's banks and watch the boats come and go. Go further to the Antipode, a cool bar on a barge. Sit at a table at La Bulle and order a traditional French meal before catching a movie in one of the twin MK2 cinemas, a play at the Centquatre, or perhaps a concert at the Point Ephémère.
