You’ll be staying in Madrid de los Austrias, the city’s historic old town and its most atmospheric quarter. The area takes its name from the Habsburgs, known in Spain as “los Austrias,” who made Madrid the capital in the 16th century and shaped this neighbourhood with grand squares, palaces and convents that still stand today. Wandering its cobbled streets, you’ll find centuries-old taverns, flamenco venues and hidden plazas around every corner. The Teatro Real and Ópera, the Mercado de San Miguel, Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace, Almudena Cathedral, Puerta del Sol and Gran Vía are all just a short stroll away. In the evening you can watch the sunset at the Templo de Debod or enjoy tapas on Cava Baja, with the very best of Madrid on your doorstep.

Every detail of this flat has been carefully thought out to make your stay as comfortable as possible. In the living room, a wooden four-poster daybed takes centre stage, working as a sofa by day and an extra bed when needed. Surrounded by original art, it’s a cosy, calm space to unwind after a day in the city, and the bright living area opens onto a French balcony overlooking a classic Madrid street. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need, from morning coffee to a candlelit dinner, and a fold-out table saves space until it’s time to eat. The bathroom features a natural stone basin, brass fittings and a spacious walk-in shower. Antique charm meets modern comfort; every inch is cleverly used, and the whole flat has a warm, romantic atmosphere.

You’ll have the entire apartment to yourselves during your stay Check-in is fully self-service via a smart lock — no physical keys or in-person meeting needed. Full instructions with your door code will be sent before arrival, so you can come and go whenever suits you.

You will be asked to verify your identity before checking in. Note: This apartment is for short-term rental. It is not available for tourist purposes. A signed contract is required. We provide basic amenities for your first stay: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, a sponge, dish soap, and a trash bag. If you require additional cleaning or linens, please let us know; we will gladly provide them for an extra charge. Smoking is prohibited in the apartment. If our team detects any signs of a violation (e.g., smoke odor, ashes, cigarette butts, etc.), we reserve the right to charge a smoking fee of at least €200. Additional keys: €20 (one extra set of keys, subject to availability, in case of lost keys or to open the door during your stay). Additional cleaning with linen change: the price of a cleaning fee. Extra linens: €30 (towels and sheets for 2 people) Check-in time: 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Please note that check-in after 10:00 PM may incur an additional charge.

كانت التجربة بشكل عام رائعة. المشكلة الوحيدة هي أن مكيف الهواء الرئيسي توقف عن العمل قبل وصولي ببضعة أيام، لكنهم شرحوا لي الموقف ووضعوا مكيفًا محمولًا في الشقة. الموقع رائع.
