It is important to note that the house is a short 80m walk from roadside parking, and guests are advised that the access is a little steep. Furthermore, we recommend that guests looking to stay with us have their own transport, either a car or scooter, as local transport links and taxis are limited outside of Funchal. The village boasts a local farmers market, several small cafes and the famous As Vides restaurant, which is widely believed to serve the best Espatada on the whole Island.
