Courcay, a village of 800 inhabitants bisected by the Indre River, offers a few local shops (bar, restaurants, bakery) and numerous walking trails for enjoying nature. Just a few minutes away, stroll through Loches: have a drink, explore the restaurants offering international cuisine, and enjoy the Wednesday and Saturday morning market in the heart of the town. Then, climb the pedestrian street to the Royal Gate and enter the medieval town to discover the royal castle of Charles VII and its 37-meter-high keep, a masterpiece of 11th-century military architecture, with a 360° panoramic terrace overlooking the town. Nearby: Beauval Zoo: less than 30 minutes away (allow a full day) Château de Chenonceau: 25 minutes away Amboise: royal château and Clos Lucé, Leonardo da Vinci's last residence Chédigny: village designated a "remarkable garden" Châteaux de Montpoupon and de Montrésor For nature lovers, the Loches state forest offers beautiful hiking and cycling trails, with its centuries-old oak trees that contributed to the reconstruction of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. Alternatively, explore the Brenne region, the "land of a thousand ponds." Southern Touraine is brimming with treasures to discover, blending history, culture, and nature.

Large house built against the hillside overlooking the river, with a lush garden and terraced grounds. Direct access to private land bordering the Indre River. 10 minutes from Cormery and less than 30 minutes from Beauval Zoo, and the castles of Chenonceau, Amboise, and Loches.

Large house nestled against the hillside. Enter through the first terrace into a small entrance hall which leads, to the right, to a cave-like kitchen, and to the left, a very bright living room with a comfortable lounge and dining area offering a magnificent view of the Indre Valley. The house also has Wi-Fi. On the first floor, the hallway leads to a small bedroom with two bunk beds (suitable for children), a double bedroom with a private terrace overlooking the grounds, a bathroom with shower and toilet, and a master bedroom with a queen-size bed and a private balcony facing the river. 👉 Bed linen and towels are provided for your stay. Outside, enjoy a second shaded lawn terrace. Approximately twenty steps lead down to the private grounds along the Indre River, ideal for enjoying the peace and quiet and the wooden dock. In addition, you have the option of using the living room fireplace. To do so, remove the protective plate after taking out the stick and slide it towards you. You can collect firewood from under the balcony. Newspaper is available in the kitchen cupboard. To improve the draft, you will need to slightly open the front door. Do not use the kitchen fireplace. Note: access to the house from the parking lot is via about fifty steps under a very vegetated natural pergola, which may be difficult for people with mobility problems.

When you arrive at your destination, park your cars near the garage and the gate, along the municipal road. You have access to the entire accommodation.
