Named after a famous resident Barbara Leigh Smith Bodichon. An English educationalist and artist, and a leading mid-19th-century feminist and women's rights activist. This historic Townhouse built in 1820 by architect Joseph Kay along with the Pelham arcade and was a fashionable destination for visitors to Hastings, providing music, refreshments and a bazaar. Entering into the apartment you are greeted with a large opulent living room with stripped and polished hardwood flooring throughout and a beautiful feature fireplace. Elegant and luxurious furnishings instantly make you feel welcome and at home. To the rear you find a bespoke, modern, contemporary fully fitted kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need during your stay. The large bright bedroom with king sized bed is awaiting you, with crisp clean linens and plenty of storage space for your stay. A stunning bathroom with shower over the bath and modern fixtures and fittings complete this perfect seaside & artists retreat.

Guests will receive all access codes and instructions 48 hours before there arrival.
