Here are some suggestions to fully enjoy your stay in Dreux: Visit the magnificent royal chapel of Dreux, an architectural gem where many French royal personalities rest. The chapel offers stunning views of the city centre and you will be there in just 10 minutes on foot. Take the opportunity to explore the Dreux Castle, a historic building that houses an exciting museum dedicated to local history. Stroll through the picturesque city centre of Dreux, discover its lively streets and the canals of the Blaise, tributary of the nearby Eure. Many shops, snacks and restaurants, welcoming cafes and services are available just a few hundred meters away. Just 8 minutes walk: a covered market takes place on Wednesdays and Sundays between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. A media library and a cinema are also located in the centre of Dreux.
