The beautiful Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar is worth a visit. The views from outside the monastery will take your breath away. Next door to the monastery is the palm-shaded Jardim do Morro. The gardens are a pleasant spot to take a seat and enjoy the views out over the river and Porto that make this worth a visit, particularly at sunset when the river turns to gold. If you go down the narrow and picturesque streets of Gaia, you’ll reach the riverside, where it’s possible to find the famous Port Wine Cellars. It’s also a great spot to have dinner, enjoy a glass of port wine and shop. An alternative to reach the riverside is by taking the Teleferico de Gaia (Gaia’s Cable Car).

The kitchenette is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare tasty meals, including an electric hob, microwave, coffee machine, and all the necessary cookware and utensils. The bedroom is a bright and pleasant space featuring a comfortable queen-size bed, a TV to enjoy your favourite shows, and a dining table. Hotel-quality linens are provided to ensure maximum comfort throughout your stay. The bathroom is fitted with all the essentials you’ll need to freshen up, including fresh towels and complimentary toiletries. For your peace of mind, the space is professionally cleaned before each stay. Located on the 5th floor, the building also has an elevator for easy access. Enjoy your stay!

This is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before enter into the property. Check-in can be done from 3 PM, pending availability and confirmation. Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal. There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum. Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€. For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag. Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay). Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee. Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
