Neighbourhood
A neighborhood drenched deeply in wealth, Lapa was home to the city's aristocrats during the 19th-century before they migrated to Ajuda and Belém. Today, you'll find relics of its former occupants down Rua Bueanos Aires where the 25 tram silently snakes through streets towards Basilica da Estrella and its neighboring garden, as well as the neoclassical Assembleia da República, which is Portugal’s parliament. Lapa is also crowned as one of the city’s highest hills, offering sweeping views of Lisbon. Just looking down Rua São João da Mata, from Rua Lapa, is a dizzying sight with the long, steep, sloping streets in the foreground giving an almost romanticised feeling.

Welcome! Located inside a charming 19th-century townhouse in the hilly quarter of Lapa. My home has been renovated to help you relax during your stay in Lisbon. Feel like a local as my home is equipped with all the essentials. Here, you will find a large living area that opens up to a wonderful terrasse with a barbecue and small garden, which is very rare in Lisbon. A kitchen with all an electric hob, oven and stocked with all the tools needed to make a satisfying meal or outdoor grilling. Further inside, the bedroom has a large double-bed -- and for an additional guest, the sofa in the living room can be converted into a bed. Clean linens, duvets and linens are provided for your convenience. A large, walk-in shower is found in the bathroom, along with basics of toilet, sink and mirror. Feel free to use the hair-dryer, towels and complimentary toiletries available for your personal usage. Hot water and free Wifi is available throughout the entire apartment.

This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the flat. Check-in can be done from 3 PM, pending availability and confirmation. There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum. Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€. For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag. Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay). Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee. Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
