You’re ideally situated to explore Lille on foot. Right next door, Place du Maréchal Leclerc has just been completely renovated: a new green space with a park, perfect for a break or a peaceful stroll. Just a few minutes away, Square Birdwood also offers a green space and a playground for children. Those looking for great spots will be delighted. Rue Nationale is home to many renowned neighborhood restaurants and bars: Bistrot Minot and Le Grand Angle for their atmosphere, Welsh Alors for Northern French specialties, and the pizzerias All Pommodoro and Dolce Sogno. The famous Wazemmes Market, one of the largest in northern France, is just a few minutes’ walk away: a must-visit on Sunday mornings for its fresh produce, cheeses, and unique atmosphere. In the heart of Lille, on Rue Nationale, just a stone's throw from the lively Wazemmes neighborhood and the Gambetta metro station, this charming apartment is located on the first floor of a building typical of Lille. With original hardwood floors, period stained-glass windows, and high ceilings, it offers all the charm of an older home, just a 10 to 15 minute walk from downtown.

Spacious rooms, original hardwood floors, high ceilings, period stained-glass windows, and two marble fireplaces: this apartment exudes old-world charm. Bright and welcoming, it feels just like home. It consists of a large living area with a sitting room and kitchenette, a bedroom with a double bed (140 x 200) facing the quiet rear of the building, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and entertaining: stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, kettle, dishes, and utensils. The building is older and soundproofing may be limited; you may occasionally hear everyday noises from the building or the surrounding area. The apartment will be thoroughly prepared for your arrival: Professional cleaning service + laundry service for linens. All linens are provided: bed linens, bath towels, bath mats, and dish towels. Public transportation just a stone’s throw away: Gambetta Metro Station (Line 1), about a 5-minute walk: direct access to downtown, the Grand Place, and the Lille Flandres and Lille Europe train stations. Wazemmes Metro Station (Line 1), about a 7-minute walk, ideal on market days. Several V’Lille stations (bike-sharing) are right nearby, on rue Nationale and rue Solférino.
