Built in 1882 as an oil and lamp shop, the house has a lovely garden and is perfect for families and friends looking for a relaxing break.
Raum
Welcome! In the living room, there are two comfy sofas, a woodburning stove and a flat-screen TV for cosy nights in. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the amenities you need to enjoy cooking a meal and a large antique table for dining or just sitting around and chatting. The room at the front which was the old shop is now a studio/workspace and includes a sofa bed. There are 2 double bedrooms upstairs and a large bathroom with a big bath and spacious shower. You will find fresh towels and complimentary toiletries that are also provided for your convenience. The garden access is via the French doors in the kitchen -it is south facing so quite a sun trap, with flowers, trees and a small fishpond. It has a table and benches with a parasol, a great place to enjoy al fresco dining, a cup of coffee or tea when it’s warm enough. We follow an enhanced cleaning protocol and professional cleaning as well as strategic disinfection. Have a lovely stay!

This is a self-check-in property and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the flat. You can check in any time of the day as long as you respect our standard check-in time. Also, we charge £50 for each set of lost keys (security keys may cost more). For security purposes, there may be an additional cost to replace the locks. So, please keep your keys safe :) There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.) we fully reserve the right to charge a £300 GBP smoking fee, at a minimum. We do not allow parties, large gatherings, loud noises, or outside guests. Should we receive sufficient evidence of such activity we reserve the right to cancel your stay (without refund) and may involve a security team to evict you. Any associated cost will be charged to you via your security deposit. Local authorities may also be present (if required). If you require linens for the sofa bed, we advise you to request them early so that we can prepare them before your check-in! Thank you!
