Important Information: House Rules and Booking Terms for our House with Swimming Pool and Terraces By making a booking for our house in Sète, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted the terms of these house rules. The safety and well-being of all our guests are paramount, and compliance with these rules is essential to ensure an enjoyable stay and to maintain the quality of our property. Safety Clause: Children, Swimming Pool and Terraces: The safety of your children is our priority. However, this property contains features that require extra vigilance on your part: Terraces: The terraces of this house, although compliant with standards for adults, may pose a risk to young children. Constant and active supervision is essential when young children are on the terraces. Never leave children unattended on the terraces. Swimming Pool (with safety cover, no barrier): This property has a swimming pool fitted with a safety cover. It is essential to note that this pool does not have a protective barrier. Children’s safety cannot be guaranteed once the cover is removed for use of the swimming pool. CONSTANT and ACTIVE SUPERVISION of children and non-swimmers is MANDATORY at all times around and in the swimming pool, whether the cover is in place or not. Parental Responsibility: It is your sole responsibility to ensure the safety of children on the property at all times. We ask that you exercise constant vigilance and never leave children unattended near the pool (whether the cover is in place or not) or on the terraces. By booking this property, you acknowledge that you have read this warning and accept full responsibility for the safety of any children present during your stay. Your commitment to a respectful stay: Peace and quiet and the neighbourhood: We ask you to keep noise levels to a minimum, particularly between 10 pm and 10 am, to respect the peace and quiet of our neighbours. Parties and festive gatherings are strictly prohibited, both inside and outside the property. Occupancy: The number of guests must correspond to that stated at the time of booking, unless we have given our written consent. Pets are not permitted either inside or outside the property. The house is non-smoking. A designated smoking area is provided outside with ashtrays. Please be aware of the risk of fire; we are in a high-risk area, particularly in summer. Maintenance and proper use: We ask that you keep the house and its outdoor areas (garden, terraces, swimming pool and surrounding area, etc.) clean and in good condition during your stay, and that you use them for their intended purpose. Please take care of the equipment provided (indoor and outdoor furniture, barbecue, pool cover, etc.). Linen: Bath towels are provided for the number of guests booked. We do not provide beach towels, so please do not forget to bring your own... => SECURITY DEPOSIT: This villa is equipped with a range of high-quality facilities. To ensure these items and facilities are kept in good condition, a security deposit of €1,000 via a non-cashed bank card authorisation will be required before you enter the property (deposit via a secure credit card payment link via STRIPE; you must have sufficient funds in your account at the time of the deposit, the funds will not be debited unless the booking is for more than 7 nights). This is a requirement for confirming your booking and gaining access to the villa. An initial inventory, including a photographic record, will be carried out and approved upon your arrival. The final inventory will be carried out on the day of your departure, when the keys are returned, by the cleaning staff. The deposit held against your card will be released within 7 days of your stay, provided there is no damage. This guarantee may be activated in the following cases in particular: Loss of keys, resulting in costs for replacing locks and lost keys. An inadequate standard of cleanliness on your departure, requiring professional cleaning in addition to the usual cleaning, both inside and outside. Damage, theft or vandalism caused to the property and its fixtures and fittings (both inside and outside), including the swimming pool and its equipment, as well as the furniture on the terraces and in the garden. Improper use of the premises resulting in the need for a service to repair the damage caused. For example: failure to comply with the no-smoking rule indoors, requiring us to arrange a service to remove odours. Thank you for your understanding.
