Step out of your door and you’re in the heart of historic Madrid. Calle del Reloj is a quiet street in the elegant Palacio quarter, the city’s royal neighbourhood, where grand old buildings sit alongside local cafés and hidden tapas bars. In just a few minutes’ walk you’ll reach the newly renovated Plaza de España and the bright lights of Gran Vía, with its shops, theatres and musicals. Head the other way and you’ll find the majestic Royal Palace, the Sabatini Gardens and Almudena Cathedral. At sunset, join the locals at Templo de Debod, an ancient Egyptian temple with one of the most beautiful views over the city. Plaza Mayor, Mercado de San Miguel and Puerta del Sol are a pleasant stroll away. In the evening, the bohemian streets of Malasaña and Conde Duque are perfect for cocktails, vintage shopping and lively nightlife. Supermarkets, bakeries and great restaurants are right on your doorstep, and with Plaza de España and Ópera metro stations nearby, the whole city is easy to reach. It’s central, authentic and full of life, but with a calm street to come home to.

A spacious ground-floor studio with its own independent street entrance, in the heart of Madrid, steps from Plaza de España, the Royal Palace and Gran Vía. Cleverly laid out and full of character, it mixes antique pieces with modern design under elegant vaulted arches. With a private parking space a 1-minute walk away, it’s the ideal base for up to 2 guests, whether you’re a professional staying a while or just looking for a cosy nest in Madrid.
Space
This open-plan studio makes the most of every corner. The living area has a deep velvet sofa, a daybed, a smart TV and a work desk. The sleeping area, framed by a large arch, has a comfortable double bed and an open wardrobe in a steel-and-mesh structure. A dining table for two sits against a dramatic black feature wall. Exposed brick, vintage furniture, an old typewriter and a propeller on the wall give the flat a unique, warm character, balanced by clean white walls and wooden floors. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a hob, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, Tassimo coffee machine and kettle. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. Heating keeps the flat cosy in winter, and fans keep it fresh in summer, so it’s comfortable all year round.
Access
Guests have the whole apartment to themselves. The flat is on the ground floor and has its own independent entrance straight from the street, with no shared doors or stairs. Keys are collected from a separate location nearby, and detailed check-in instructions are sent before arrival. Guests can also use a private parking space in a garage at Calle Leganitos 37, a 1-minute walk away.

You will be asked to verify your identity before checking in. Note: This apartment is for short-term rental. It is not available for tourist purposes. A signed contract is required. Please note: there is not lift in the building and apartment is loctaed at 4th floor We provide basic amenities for your first stay: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, a sponge, dish soap, and a trash bag. If you require additional cleaning or linens, please let us know; we will gladly provide them for an extra charge. Self check-in. Physical keys must be collected at a Keynest partner store near the accommodation. Check-in is from 3:00 PM (early check-in upon request). You will receive the pick-up code and instructions a few days before your arrival, once you have completed the arrival form. There is a zero-tolerance smoking policy on the property, but guests may smoke in outdoor areas if the accommodation has them. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (for example, smoke smell, ashes, cigarette butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a minimum penalty of €200 for smoking. Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of utilities will apply with a limit of €80. Extra keys: according to availability, in case of loss a penalty will be applied according to the cost of the copy. Please note: A rental contract must be signed online prior to your arrival. We will not be able to provide your check-in instructions until the contract is signed.
