A hub of the port wine industry, Vila Nova de Gaia is peppered with cellars offering tours and tastings. The main attractions are within walking distance. The beautiful Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar is worth the visit. The views from outside the monastery will take your breath away. Next door to the monastery is the palm-shaded Jardim do Morro. The gardens are a pleasant spot to take a seat and enjoy the views out over the river and Porto, which make this worth a visit, particularly at sunset when the river turns to gold. If you go down the narrow and picturesque streets of Gaia, you’ll reach the riverside, where it’s possible to find the famous Port Wine Cellars. It’s also a great spot to have dinner, enjoy a glass of port wine and shop. An alternative to reach the riverside is by taking the Teleferico de Gaia (Gaia’s Cable Car).

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking in the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.) we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 EUR smoking fee, at minimum. Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€ included. We provide the basic amenities for the first use: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag. Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay) Extra cleaning with linen: price of a cleaning fee Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax i.e when sofa bed is not included)

Nasz pobyt mógłby się lepiej rozpocząć. Przez pierwsze 24 godziny nie było gazu, co powinno zostać sprawdzone przed naszym przyjazdem! Po 15-godzinnej podróży nie mogliśmy gotować ani wziąć prysznica!
