NECESSITIES Tesco Extra is a 5 minute walk away and offers a great selection of food and drink and also has many other services inc. ATM, cafe and clothing. Slough town is right on your doorstep and provides an abundance of shops and banks. PLACES TO EAT & DRINK There is a huge choice of restaurants and bars in the area. Gaudio’s is just round the corner and will get you off to a great start in the morning with a great range of fresh food. Our Favourites: Caribbean Experience, Mori (Japanese), Indio (Indian), Milano (Pizza). Michelin Restaurants: The Fat Duck (Blumenthal), The Hinds Head (Blumenthal), The Waterside Inn (Roux), Hand & Flowers (Kerridge), Roux at Skindles (Roux). THINGS TO DO, PLACES TO SEE There is an abundance of activities waiting for you, right outside your doorstep: cinema, go-karting, laser quest, crazy golf, leisure centre (brand new), outdoor gym, bowling, golf, rugby, football.....any many, many more!! Slough is also an ideal base for visiting London, Windsor, Legoland and the Thames Valley. You are lucky to be surrounded by some great attractions which are suitable for everyone! Along with the extensive list below, this also includes; Burnham Beeches, Savill Gardens, Bekonscot Model Village, Odds Farm Park and Dorney Court. The property is located very close to the River Thames which allows some very picturesque walks and the chance to visit many of the nearby locks with plenty of ice cream stops along the way. Windsor Town Centre is easily reached from the property and here you will find the iconic Windsor Castle, The Long Walk, lots of shops and restaurants and it is just a short walk away from Eton and the College. Legoland is a great family day out, especially for the little ones! It is approximately 7 miles away and easily reached by car. Stoke Park - Luxury Spa, Golf & Country Club (10 mins by car/taxi). Stoke Park combines sumptuous luxury and refined elegance with some of the finest sporting and leisure facilities in Britain. Cliveden – this well known National Trust property and Country House is worth a visit for woodland walks and river views. If you’re feeling fancy – you could treat yourself to Afternoon Tea… Dorney Rowing Lake was famously used in the London 2012 Olympics. Today it is best enjoyed for walks, bike rides or other recreational activities whilst watching rowing events, triathlons and beautiful sunsets. This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the flat. You can check in any time of the day as long as you respect our standard check-in time (4 PM). Also, we charge £50 for each set of lost keys (security keys may cost more). There may be an additional cost to replace the locks for security purposes. So, please keep your keys safe. There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a minimum of £300 for the smoking fee. We do not allow parties, large gatherings, loud noises, or outside guests. Should we receive sufficient evidence of such activity, we reserve the right to cancel your stay (without a refund) and may involve a security team to evict you. Any associated cost will be charged to you via your security deposit. Local authorities may also be present (if required).
