This beautifully designed ninety square metre studio apartment in Borough and Bankside blends striking architectural features with industrial character and contemporary comfort, creating a stylish open-plan retreat in the heart of Southwark. Its impressive warehouse proportions and distinctive structural elements offer a scale and style rarely found in nearby hotels. The space showcases a refined architectural aesthetic softened by warm, welcoming touches throughout. Ideal for couples, solo travellers or business guests, it offers a memorable and unique London stay in a design-led setting. The property features a spacious studio layout, with the four-poster bed positioned to the side of the main living area, along with a modern bathroom fitted with a walk-in shower. Located on the ground floor, the apartment benefits from convenient step-free access. The sleeping arrangements include a queen sized bed and a single sofa bed suitable for one additional guest, comfortably accommodating two guests with flexibility for a third. At the centre of the studio, a striking black metal four-poster bed creates a boutique-style focal point, framed by the apartment’s strong architectural lines. Large industrial-style windows flood the space with natural light, highlighting exposed textures and enhancing the sense of volume and openness. A dining area is seamlessly integrated into the layout, while a statement patterned rug, floating timber shelves, curated artwork and ambient lighting subtly define areas for relaxing and dining without interrupting the cohesive open-plan design. The modern kitchen blends effortlessly into the space and features sleek cabinetry, rich wooden worktops, open shelving and contemporary appliances including a built-in oven, hob, fridge and modern sink fittings. Timbers reclaimed from the building during the renovation are used throughout for panelling and doors, reinforcing the character of the original warehouse, which was converted by its architect-owners in twenty eighteen. Metal accents and carefully considered detailing celebrate the building’s heritage, while indoor plants and curated décor add warmth and personality.

We do also offer the option of an in person assisted check-in and should you request this, one of the team will meet you at the property to hand over the keys and give you a quick tour of the property. For this service a fee of £40 would apply between 4pm and 7pm and a fee of £60 would apply from 7pm onwards. Guests must leave the property in the same state as when they checked in.
