Welcome to my home!
A bright and spacious one-bedroom apartment located high above the streets of Chiado. My home is fully equipped with all the amenities to ensure you'll have a comfortable stay with us.
So help yourself and make yourself a 'bica' -- coffee in Lisbon slang -- and relax in the sitting area with friends and family. The sofa can be converted into a double bed should you need it.
Feel free to use the kitchen to make homecooked meals and enjoy it over the 4-person dining table. The private terrace outside is perfect for sun-tanning during the warmer months. For colder months, the beds are lined with hotel-quality linens and a duvet to keep you warm throughout the day and night.
The bathroom is equipped with a hot-water shower, sink, mirror, and toilet. Essentials such as towels, shampoo, and soap are provided at no extra cost for your convenience.
Simply drop your bags and explore the wonderful city of Lisbon!
Guests will have access to the entire apartment.
My home is in the hands of GuestReady, a property management team who work hard to make sure your stay is smooth and comfortable! They will be available 24/7 should you have any questions or requests during your stay.
An important cultural and commercial district known for its luxury shopping and its rich history. The bohemian neighbourhood of Chiado, located between Barrio Alto and Baixa Pombalina, is considered the Montmarte district of Paris.
Majority of the area was extensively rebuilt after a great fire in 1988 by Pritzker-winning architect Álvaro Siza Vieira, becoming one of the most valuable real estates markets in Portugal. These include the famous streets of Rua do Carmo, which houses the ruins of a church by the same name and Rua Garrett, in the centre of Chiado. The square and its surrounding streets are full of famous cafés, theatres and museums.
Of course, a must-see is Cafe A Brasileira, one of the oldest cafes in Lisbon. You can also enjoy breathtaking views of Lisbon from the Elevador de Santa Justa or the Carmo Convent, for example.
A commercial neighbourhood at its core, especially for its Garrett and Carmo streets, Chiado is to this day a mandatory visit in Lisbon.
My home is easily accessible by public transport.
The nearest tram station, Rua da Palma (28E), is 5-mins away on foot.
The nearest train station, Intendente (Green line) is 8-mins away.
Several buses service the area.
You can ride the famous 28E tram to Alfama or take the 22B bus at Carlhariz, which is a 2-minute walk from my home.
Lisbon Portela Airport is a 15-mins drive from the apartment.
Most of the city center is easy to get around on foot and you can take a walking tour of all the famous sites.
Alternatively, taxis and Uber are available at your convenience.

Great property in great location
My wife and I stayed in this property for a 5 night break in Lisbon. The property was clean and fresh with excellent amenities including coffee maker, washing machine, dishwasher and a great shower. The outside seating area was ideal for sitting and relaxing. There are a couple of small supermarkets within close proximity as well as a few bars and restaurants all within a 5 minute walk. There is an ATM less than a minute away. There are a number of bus stops within a couple of minutes but we chose to walk into the center every day - probably about 10 minutes or so. This property was perfect for our visit to Lisbon.October 2019
We loved our stay in this apartment - it was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated.August 2019
Nice stay but 3 issues to solve
We had a nice stay in this place. The apartment is very well decorated and furnished. There is everything you need, however there are 3 issues : 1/ It's not very easy to open and to lock the door with the keys. 2/ The bedroom is very humid and there are many moisture leaks on the walls. 3/ If you come by taxi, it's very important to mention to the taxi driver "Traversa das Salgadeiras" as there is another street with the same name downtown "Rua das Salgadeiras".May 2019
April 2019
