A hub of the port wine industry, Vila Nova de Gaia is peppered with cellars offering tours and tastings. The main attractions are within walking distance. The beautiful Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar is worth the visit. The views from outside the monastery will take your breath away. Next door to the monastery is the palm-shaded Jardim do Morro. The gardens are a pleasant spot to take a seat and enjoy the views out over the river and Porto, which make this worth a visit, particularly at sunset when the river turns to gold. If you go down the narrow and picturesque streets of Gaia, you’ll reach the riverside, where it’s possible to find the famous Port Wine Cellars. It’s also a great spot to have dinner, enjoy a glass of port wine and shop. An alternative to reach the riverside is by taking the Teleferico de Gaia (Gaia’s Cable Car).

If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.) we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 EUR smoking fee, at minimum. We provide the basic amenities for the first use: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt hier. Die Unterkunft ist groß, sauber und man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Der Gastgeber ist super nett und hat alle Fragen schnell beantwortet. Absolut 💯 empfehlenswer

Es war wunderschön, die Lage war toll, und die Wohnung war sehr gemütlich und sauber. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder dort übernachten.
