The atmosphere of old France lulls the mainly residential neighbourhood but includes some of Paris's most famous attractions, such as the Catacombs. When it comes to shopping, go to Montparnasse, which is a large shopping centre. You can also stroll down Rue Daguerre, similar to Rue Montorgueil. There you will find bakeries and patisseries (where you can buy tasty macaroons...). There are many places to eat in the borough, a small recommendation for Breton creperies! You won't have trouble finding them; they are omnipresent everywhere in the district.
