This part of the city was known as Brandy Circut because there are supposed to be brandy stills following this space. In 1882, this square acquired its current name on the centenary of the death of the Portuguese political leader Sebastião José de Carvalho e Melo (Marquês de Pombal). The square includes a romantic garden, two fountains, and a bandstand. Densely wooded, it is very popular on hot days and by pensioners who play Swedish and domino games here. The metro is in the zone, so you can quickly move around the city in a few minutes.

The bathroom has all the amenities you need to freshen up, including clean towels and complimentary toiletries. Cleaning will be done before your anticipated arrival. Enjoy your stay! Important note: The building has old architecture, and the acoustics performance is not the best.
