This bright and elegant, first-floor apartment in an attractive, period building overlooks the tree-lined end of a beautiful and quiet street in an idyllic area of west London. The property is only a few moments' walk to the Kensington Palace end of Hyde Park, charming local cafes and shops, and the extensive amenities of Kensington High Street. High Street Kensington station is only 400 meters away. This two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment is accessed either by a stairwell or lift and can comfortably accommodate 2 persons. The principal bedroom has an ensuite marble bathroom (with overhead shower) and opens onto a delightful, planted terrace at the rear of the property ideal for outdoor dining. The equally quiet, second bedroom (which has a single bed that can convert to a double)has a huge window and so enjoys plenty of light. The non-smoking apartment has a marble shower room off the hallway and a fully equipped, galley kitchen, complete with a granite worktop and two Miele ovens. An impressive feature of the property is a large, high ceiling living room with cornicing and two chandeliers. Three sets of French doors open onto a pretty, wrought-iron balcony overlooking trees and the handsome facades of the surrounding period buildings. The living room includes a dining table and six chairs, a seating area including a comfortable sofa, a Smart TV and Bose music system. There is parquet wooden flooring throughout much of the flat.
