Čtvrť
The 3rd Arrondissement of Paris is also known as the "Arrondissement du Temple". The oldest buildings date from the 18th century. This district also has the famous Marais, which is a superb area. The Marais is a clever mix of past and modernity. It is a trendy and historical district that recalls the Parisian past and whose streets are appreciated for their beauty and charm. During the night or even the day, you can find a lot of bars/terraces and tasty restaurants! This district has many museums, such as the Picasso Museum, Carnavalet Museum, Arts and Crafts Museum, Hunting and Nature Museum, and the Museum of History and Art of Judaism. In the heart of the 3rd, there are also beautiful, quiet, and pleasant gardens to enjoy a French pastry, the Anne Frank Garden as well as the Garden of the National Archives, but also the Square Georges Caïn and the Square Saint-Gilles-du-Grand-Veneur. It is an ideal neighbourhood for shopping, with many young fashion designers.
