This part of Marylebone sits between two of the area's best-known landmarks: the Wallace Collection, a free museum of decorative art housed in a historic townhouse, and Regent's Park, with its rose gardens, boating lake and open-air theatre in the summer months. Manchester Square and the surrounding streets are quietly residential, while Marylebone High Street, a few minutes further on, brings together independent boutiques, La Fromagerie's much-loved deli and café, and the Monocle Café on Chiltern Street. The Golden Hind has served proper fish and chips on Marylebone Lane for decades, and remains one of the area's most genuine local institutions. The apartment comfortably sleeps three guests across two bedrooms, one with a double bed, and a compact second bedroom with a single bed. The bathroom is fitted with a shower over bath. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is bright, with a large window filling the room with natural light. A deep-blue sofa sits alongside a round dining table that seats four, and the kitchen is fitted with modern appliances, including a Nespresso machine, ideal for quick coffees and casual meals. Disclaimer: the building has CCTV for added security, and the lift is small, holding one guest and one piece of luggage at a time.
