A bright and spacious one-bedroom apartment located high above the streets of Chiado. My home comes fully-equipped with all the amenities to make yourself feel like a local to Lisbon.

So help yourself and make yourself a 'bica' -- coffee in Lisbon slang -- and relax in the sitting area with friends and family. Or use the kitchen to make homestyle meals and enjoy it over the 4-person dining table. The private terrace outside is perfect of sun-tanning during the warmer months. For colder months, the beds are lined with hotel quality linens and duvet to keep you warm throughout the day and night.

The bathroom is equipped with a hot-water shower, sink, mirror and toilet. Essentials such as towel, shampoo and soap are provided at no extra cost for your convenience.

Simply drop your bags and explore the wonderful city of Lisbon!

Neighborhood

An important cultural and commercial district known for its luxury shopping and its rich history. The bohemian neighbourhood of Chiado, located between Barrio Alto and Baixa Pombalina, is considered the Montmarte district of Paris.

Majority of the area was extensively rebuilt after a great fire in 1988 by Pritzker-winning architect Álvaro Siza Vieira, becoming one of the most valuable real estates markets in Portugal. These include the famous streets of Rua do Carmo, which houses the ruins of a church by the same name and Rua Garrett, in the centre of Chiado. The square and its surrounding streets are full of famous cafés, theatres and museums.

Transit

You can ride the famous 28E tram to Alfama or take the 22B bus at Carlhariz, which is a 2-minute walk from my home. However, most of the city center is easy to get around by foot and you can take a walking tour of all the famous sites.

Alternatively, taxis and Uber are available at your convenience.

Please note that late check-in after 22:00 has a surcharge of EUR 20. Check-ins from midnight to 07:00 has a surcharge of EUR 30. Fees to be paid upon arrival. Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 100€ included.

Great property in great location

My wife and I stayed in this property for a 5 night break in Lisbon. The property was clean and fresh with excellent amenities including coffee maker, washing machine, dishwasher and a great shower. The outside seating area was ideal for sitting and relaxing. There are a couple of small supermarkets within close proximity as well as a few bars and restaurants all within a 5 minute walk. There is an ATM less than a minute away. There are a number of bus stops within a couple of minutes but we chose to walk into the center every day - probably about 10 minutes or so. This property was perfect for our visit to Lisbon.

Nice stay but 3 issues to solve

We had a nice stay in this place. The apartment is very well decorated and furnished. There is everything you need, however there are 3 issues : 1/ It's not very easy to open and to lock the door with the keys. 2/ The bedroom is very humid and there are many moisture leaks on the walls. 3/ If you come by taxi, it's very important to mention to the taxi driver "Traversa das Salgadeiras" as there is another street with the same name downtown "Rua das Salgadeiras".

Recomendable

El apartamento cumple las expectativas. Bonito, cómodo, agradable, tranquilo, limpio, bien equipado y muy bien situado, tanto para desplazarse a pie a las zonas más interesantes de la ciudad como para acceder a los transportes públicos. El único inconveniente, para los que vayáis en coche, es que no dispone de parquing. Nosotros, sin duda, repetiríamos.
